This year the four piece have embarked on multiple national tours, and will be supporting US pop sensation Belinda Carlisle on her entire Australian run of shows throughout September and October.

They also took out three WA Song of the Year Awards for Best Rock Song, Outstanding Indigenous and Runner Up Song of the Year. In 2024 the band have already released two singles, ‘Good Time’; which was added to Spotify's New Music Friday, Front Left, Alt Here, Fresh Finds, Local Noise and Indie Arrivals and ‘Born in the Wrong Time’; which landed a first play and interview on Triple J, Triple J Unearthed feature artist, multiple Spotify editorials and was number one on the Metro AMRAP community radio charts for multiple weeks. The powerhouse four piece have shared stages with some big acts including Weyes Blood, Teen Jesus and Jean Teasers, Sly Withers, Pacific Avenue, Coterie, South Summit, Weyes Blood, Caravana Sun and many more.
The band began with Grace Newton-Wordsworth and Aaron Birch, who formed Joan & The Giants in 2019.
